[LATEST UPDATE: 7 July 2016 - recordings loaded for the afternoon; no morning talks due to technical problems] On June 23, 2016 the tranSMART Foundation with DBMI/Harvard Medical School held an all day session on the use of the tranSMART Foundation Platform for translational research and the i2b2 platform for clinical research with discussions on future improved integration. The symposium followed the Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) meetings on i2b2/SHRINE (June 21) and Precision Medicine 2016 meeting (June 22) at Harvard Medical School. The sessions covered the use of tranSMART and i2b2 in research programs as well as presentations by scientists and clinicians who are using both platforms in their research projects.
